Most of you probably remember all the hype generated by the release of Microsoft Vista in January 2007, and their marketing campaigns, which sought to convince us that Vista really is not as bad as we thought. Vista was slow, had compatibility problems and its many overly intrusive User Account Control (UAC) is forced to leave most users to disable the security function of your PC vulnerable to attacks. The IT community rebelled against Vista, and refused to install it in yourOffices, he had to sell, and Microsoft will continue to support XP for much longer than expected and forced. Windows 7 promises to be what it should be seen, and perhaps more or less, depending on how you see it. Initial tests showed that Windows 7 is faster and stronger than Microsoft Vista and compatibility problems appear to be difficulties that Vista have been resolved.
There are advantages to warrant an upgrade? Feedback about Windows 7 has been very positive, and since XPis no longer available for sale, the IT managers have to look at Windows 7 on a certain date. Here's a short list of new features that can help the decision.
1) Minimum Hardware Requirements - In general, any new Microsoft operating system requires more memory space and computing power to fully utilize. Windows 7 is actually run faster than Vista and has the same hardware requirements, so that run well on netbooks.
2) more friendly ECM - ECM solutions with which the storageimages audio and video, and digital spreadsheets and Word documents, users will benefit from enhanced Media Player 12 utility.
3) Configure User Account Control - Administrators can tune UAC to protect computer users, without the instructions and warnings found in invasive Vista.
Specify 4) Library Concept - Windows 7 allows users to a list of directories, which are grouped in a library, which can then be released or managed in other directories with one clickAccess.
5) Improved support Touch - Multi-Touch is on Windows 7, so that all the cool things people can do on their iPhones to navigate with a touch-enabled PC, as the strip of and with two fingers to enlarge or are possible or reduce the image window has been added.
If you are running Vista, then the upgrade is a fairly simple task, since the ability to install Windows 7 are fresh or modernization. Update removes the need to reinstall all applications that mightSave much time compared to the new installation. XP users will be forced to do a fresh install of Windows 7 and reinstall all their applications and hardware devices to perform.
Most hardware works on Vista and XP should run on Windows 7, but have some equipment problems, or at least ask for new drivers. To assist users, Microsoft provides free software for download on the site, http://www.microsoft.com/windows/windows-7/get/upgrade-advisor.aspx to the PC for testing, installation of devices and applications for compatibility issues. At the end of the test, it generates a report, discussed the details of any compatibility issues that have been found, and must be corrected before migrating to Windows 7.
I plan more tests on my personal computer, was not the first office PC, but not so far, except for costs, I have not found a reason not to improve, certainly the case with Vista.
